As transit records’ sound director and founder of the eponymous club night Evening Breeze, Local Sun has his hands on everything from contemporary jazz, dub, house and world music. TRPH004 shines a spotlight on these influences, bringing forth nuances that embrace these foreign inspirations with his own Filipino heritage. As the final release of 2020 for the transit records label, Local Sun’s long awaited sophomore project is a balearic force to be reckoned with.
